Extra Life 2018 Success!
Thanks to everyone who participated in Extra Life 2018, benefiting Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare!
With your support, we surpassed 2017’s total and increased our 2018 fundraising dollars to $256,751, bringing Minneapolis to the 5th highest fundraising Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals market in the nation. Nicely done!
Kudos to the Twin Cities Extra Life Guild and all of the teams and team leaders who raised the bar this year! Thanks to The Nerdery for hosting a large event on November 3. Also, thank you to Level Up Games, GameStop, Microsoft and the many groups who hosted or supported fundraisers, recruited gamers and helped get the message out! There simply are too many to name and we don’t want to leave anyone out.
How can I help in 2019? Host a gaming event at your home or business. Serve some tasty snacks and ask everyone in attendance to sign up at Extra Life and donate $5 to your fundraising page or start their own fundraising page. You can start now! Host one every few months! Let’s get a running start at 2019.
