It was a weekend of dancing FTK!

Dance Marathon is a national movement, uniting college, university and high school students across North America to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Two universities supporting Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare held their main events this past Friday and Saturday, revealing their grand fundraising totals for the kids!

Mavathon, Mankato State Dance Marathon, and Hamline University Dance Marathon were filled with epic dance moves, tons of smiles, and moving stories from miracle patients and families.

The Moskowitz Family, pictured above, shared their journey to Gillette Children’s at the first ever Hamline University Dance Marathon. To say they had an AMAZING time would be an understatement! From the Morale Dance and games, to playing with balloons, the kiddos had an absolute blast the whole time. At their grand reveal, Hamline University Dance Marathon revealed their fundraising total of over $6,000 for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare.

The Mavathon Team truly knew the ABCs of fundraising and showed them in their dance moves as well, take a look into their moral dance above!

Mavathon was filled with interactive activities including Bowling, Cosmic Bingo, and a very large, very festive spirit stick! All of these elements came together and helped reveal a grand fundraising total of over $26,400.00 for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare!

A huge Thank You goes out to these two executive teams who threw memorable events that Gillette staff, and patient families will be talking about for months to come!
