It’s Children’s Hospitals Week!

Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare relies heavily on the kindness and generosity of community partners that promote Charitable Care, Recovery, Healing and Education. Their generous contributions are allowing the Child and Family Services Department at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare to not only provide excellent medical care, but to also care for the emotional, relational and financial impact of a child’s illness or injury on the whole family. The crucial and innovative professionals of the Child and Family Services Department combine extensive knowledge of child development, behavioral communication, and knowledge of health care needs to assist Gillette families in all aspects of their lives. This Children’s Hospital Week, we recognize and these phenomenal individuals and the vital work.

From hosting pet therapy teams for “Therapy Dog Shows” and using dolls for medical play and education to financial assistance and interpreters, The Child and Family services department is leaving a long lasting positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
