University of Minnesota Dance Marathon Recap

Miracle Network Dance Marathon is a fundraising initiative of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through colleges and universities. A group of students will create a leadership team and together, they work on setting up a ‘Big Event’ which they will recruit students to attend and fundraise for. Fundraising for this program has been growing rapidly in the past few years and many new schools are joining the movement.

This year we are so proud to have University of Minnesota start their first Dance Marathon that is in partnership with CMN Hospitals and Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare. The dedicated student leaders did a FANTASTIC job planning and executing this event. Their passion, strategic thinking, and determination led them to recruit over 250 students to attend and fundraise $18,345.54 For The Kids!

University of Minnesota Dance Marathon is already working to transition their leadership team so they can make an even larger impact next year.
